Girl: My presentation is about how you can use colour coding to organise your homework.

To start you need a few things from the stationery shop. This photo shows the things I use. They aren't expensive. They are all cheap. I've got coloured pens and pencils, sticky notes, page markers, glue and folders.

First, I choose a different colour for each school subject. The colour I choose has to be easy to remember so I make sure it means something to me. Maths is green because my ruler is green. PE is yellow because my trainers are yellow.

Here is a photo of my folders. I use the cheapest kind and I add a coloured sticky note to the top and to the front. I keep all my notes inside the different folders.

This is a photo of some more sticky notes. I wrote them in the library when I was studying. The blue notes are for history. My history teacher has got a blue car! The black notes are for geography. One day I want to visit the Black Sea.

This photo shows the pages I need to read for homework. I use two coloured page markers to mark where it starts and ends. Those blue ones mark the pages I need to read for history.

Finally, this last photo shows my wall calendar. This green star shows I have a maths test on Friday. This pink circle shows I've got French homework for Monday. It's pink because 'pink' is 'rose' in French … and the rose is my favourite flower.

Has anyone got any questions?

I don't use colour coding. In my opinion, it takes a lot of time and I don’t need it. However, I can use page markers. We also have a school diary in which we write homework and other important things.

I choose red for Spanish because a lot of things in Spanish are red, blue for physics because it represent atoms, neutron, nature... for me.
Sometimes it depends what colours are disponible in stores.
I also use Canson papers for revision : I chose green for science because it represents nature, pink for French, history because the copy books of these subject are pink.

I really love Learn English Teens because it's really complete!
Thank you for everything!

When i was at primary school, I had to put a sleeve on my notebooks. My teachers told me which one I had to use for every subject. Now I don't have to use them anymore, but I do it because for me it's easy to remember them.

- For mathematics I choose the color blue because that color is the cover of my notebook and it is easier for me to identify it. - For physical education I choose white because that color is my tennis shoes. - For history I choose yellow because that color seems very representative for that matter. - For geography I choose green because that color is the one that identifies the earth on maps. - For French I choose the color orange because my dictionary is that color.

Honestly, I use some colors for all school subjects, not for each of them. I usually blue pens for writing normal text, red pens for the title, or take notes. I also use some highlighters, orange for the main points of chapters, green for the main points of sections, yellow for main points of paragraphs. And I keep color-coding consistency for all my books.

I use green as the science notebook color.Because science has the image of a plant. And from the time I was an elementary school student,I have the image that Japanese is red or pink and math is blue.

Actually I don't use colour coding for each school subject. But when I was listening this presentation I decided to do a such coding. I bought coloured pencils, page markers, glue, sticky notes and folders. Now I done it. English is blue because my vocabulary is of the same colour. Maths is red because it's my favourite colour and Maths is my favourite subject. History is black because I don't like this subject.
