I don`t think that school prepares me well enough for the real world, there are so many useless lessons, useless information, we need to learn at school. I think that a lot of lessons could be replaced for managing financies, cooking and so 0n

What do you think are the most useful things to learn at school? Does school prepare you well enough for the real world? Nowadays, some people thinks the best place for learning something is school. However there are also people who express some concerns related with school education. In the first place school is one of the most important process in human life because this system give as skills for life and study children for science step by step. For example without school there will be none doctor for help ill or hurt people. School give the people knowledge whose they increase and gratitude them we can study at university for this who we want and to have profession. On the other hand, it is argued that school doesn't prepare well enough pupil for the real world. I think it depends on teachers. The most significant role is them because they are people who study children. If the teacher teaches well enough of course disciples will be in good degre. All things considered I think school is most important place for every children because give skills for science such as prepare for real life. Nevertheless, we should be carefull with choosing a school and with education in it.

A lot of people on the Internet say that schools don't teach any life skills, but, in my opinion, schools teach a lot of them. Group activities teach students teamwork while the promotion of class participation teaches how to ask for help. I think schools aren’t given enough credit for what they teach. However, I do agree that schools don’t teach other skills such as cooking, but I think it would be hard to implement them into the curriculum.

Nowadays, skills are still very important. Why? Because we could live more easily with some simply skills. In my opinion, schools should teaches skills so that could help students in their life, their exams. But on the other hand, some people who works in the mine or as a normal builder, they said that we won't need skills in order to do that work. To sum up, we need skills to do work because when you are building the wall fall down so that you must know how to put it up without use more bricks.

In my opinion, the most important in school is conventional subjects. Of course, students need some life skills as well as traditional knowledges, but there is no time for extra lessons. I believe, the parents are who should teach own children all life skills, although not all adults do that, because of different reasons. As for me, whilst I go to school every day as all students and do my homework, I learn some life skills at home and I am very grateful to my parents in taking part in it. And I would like to say that my life is teaching me many things by my life experience, but I am convinced, it is better you learn from other people's experience.

I think the most useful thing in school is maths because whatever you are going to college in it have to do with maths or in real life I think we use maths every single day without even knowing every thing is done with maths. Well school does prepare you for the real world because you see all kinds of people the good the evil the bad and the good and every other kind

Well my school teaches different skills as in music , games and sports and others. But the real problem is they teach it to only those who learned it before. It hampers us to develop our skills. and I think the school needs to teach financing so that we can make our future easier.

In my opinion, the most useful thing is to be able to meet other people to do a teamwork. And of course, learn traditional subjects such as math, language and science. But, I don't think that school prepare you well enough for the real world.

In my school, they dont teach life skills AT ALL. I just with they would, because while some people can learn from their surroundings and be independent, but some dont. My cousin Melody was a timid little kid, but after attending UWCSEA she really shone. She got straight As and was elected for the student council. The school introduced her to swimming and her asthma disappeared. She is so much more confident, alert, smart, and a happy-go-lucky person now thanks to the school which taught life skills. Students from UWCSEA learn cookery, how to take care of old people and students are told that the school produces leaders that will truly change the world, and I believe that without compassion, kindness, and experience since childhood, no matter how smart you are, you will be always falling off from the same cliff, and if you cant save yourself how can you save others? This is why is think it is important for schools to teach life skills. Thank you so much for reading --- Ariel

Of course, my school is not preparing for me as well as I wish. I want them to teach me some life skills like making cakes, gardening, doing jobs... And that's gonna be great. : >

I think, schools should have such subject as ppreparing for adult's life. It's really important to prepare students for their future life, they must know how manage your time, your budget, how to pay a bill, how to make a card and so on/ Sometimes knowledge of these things helps in real life much more than Maths or Chemistry

Nowadays, my high school teaching life skills as well as traditional subject such as math history and science. High school teacher say 'preparing adult life is important for every one ' .They gives us opportunity to develop talent. I think.preparing adult life is important especially work experience .people prepare only university exam.They don't interested in social skills .They say 'preparing adult life is wast of time because I'm not interested in future '. On the other hand ,some people say ' I learn social skill from part time job' . Some people don't interested in University .They want to work after high school .in addition High school education is occasionally poor experience . To sum up ,developing life skill is essential for us . I want to know what business is valuable for me .
