Sure, I really want to change my type because I think it is so boring. I don't have confidence myself because of my old look.

It was a very useful lesson for me. When you are more advanced phrasal verbs are the key to understanding the meaning of articles. I knew a few words, but the rest of the phrasal was unknown to me. Thanks a lot!

Hi! I have a question? What are the meaning of these words - catch up with, having on, point out, giving away, get down, and give up???

Hello , I've got a question . What's the meaning of ( sold out of ) ?

Submitted by editor_rachael on Sat, 06/15/2019 - 14:48

Hi empty!

Sold out of means the shop has sold all the items and they don't have any more. For example:

The supermarket has sold out of milk. There is no more milk available in the supermarket.

The concert tickets are sold out. There are no more tickets available.

Hope that helps!

Everything was understandable. But one thing did not understandable. And that is why George's sister saw anger in the new look of Georgie. Was not it fashionable?

Hello admins, I have a question. In the end of the video, Sam said, "Georgie----you rock!" What does 'You rock' actually mean? When do people use this word?

Submitted by editor_rachael on Fri, 01/11/2019 - 09:59

Hi luki0910,

Good question! If someone rocks, it means they're great or cool. We use it in very informal situations, so with our friends.

Hope that helps!
