Talking about your family

Sam wants to play Game of Kings, but Jack is more interested in Sam's family.

Jack: Hi Sam. How’s it going?
Sam: Good. How are you?
Jack: Fine, thanks. Hey, is that the new version of Game of Kings?
Sam: Yeah, do you want to play? It’s great!
Jack: Oh! You can’t buy that here! Where did you get it?
Sam: From my brother. He sent it to me.
Jack: What? Charlie?
Sam: No, my other brother, Rob. He lives in the States ... in New York.
Jack: Really? I didn’t know you had another brother!
Sam: Yeah! Well, he’s my half-brother.
Jack: But ... I don’t get it ...
Sam: He’s my dad’s son. My dad went to New York to study and married an American.
Jack: Your mum’s American?!
Sam: No, no, not my mum. That was ages ago ... before he met my mum.
Jack: Ah, OK, I get it now. Wow, I didn’t know that! So, how old is your half-brother?
Sam: Er, he’s five years older than me, so he’s twenty-three.
Jack: Cool. And do you see him often?
Sam: Not very often ... I’ve been to visit him twice. Well, three times, but the first time I don’t remember because I was really little. But we speak on Skype a lot.
Jack: And have you met Rob’s mum?
Sam: Yeah. She’s really nice. She’s from Mexico originally. She’s married to someone else now.
Jack: And what does your mum think?
Sam: Er ... she’s fine about it! She knew my dad was divorced and had a son.
Jack: Huh ... OK.
Sam: OK, enough questions. Do you want to play Game of Kings or what?
Jack: Yeah, cool.

There are five members in my family. They are father, mother, two younger sisters and me. My dad and mum is short and little fat. My younger sisters' name are Zar Zar and Theint Theint. Zar Zar is 13 years old. She is taller than me and has got short hair. Theint Theint is 5 years younger than me. She has got straight hair and fair skin.

In my family we are four people: my paresnts, my brother and me. My brother is three years older than me. I usually spend a lot of time with him, and we often play a trading card game or videogames together. Sometimes I meet my cousin (the daughter of my mum's sister) and we have a lot of fun. She's really nice.

In my family we are four people. There are my parents, Mum and Dad. They are both from South Korea. I also have a little brother, his name is David. All my relatives live in South Korea, except my cousin, the son of my Mum's older sister. I've got 2 female cousins and 8 male cousins. And there's also the little daughter of my cousin, she's 1 year old. So, my family isn't so complicated, because I don't have any half-sisters and half-brothers.

I have 2 siblings one of them is 2 years older than me and my younger sister is 8 years younger than me, so I half sibling. My dad was a director but before retire, sadly he pass away. My mam is housewife. Now, I have been married 12 years ago, and I've got 2 kids. He is omar and his sister is lily, he is 3 years older than her. My husband is banker.

I live with my mom and dad and a 6-year-younger sister. My sister and i love reading a lot. We usually read fiction or science books and weird science facts. We like to remember the facts as many as we can, and we'll share those facts to our parents. But my little sister can remember the facts more than i can. I think she's pretty cool. She is also better than me in math when i was in her age.

At this moment I am living with my mum, dad, 2 brothers, my grandparents and a older lady that is almost one third grandma, it's a full house, pretty loud too. The rest of my relatives lives around the world, and I don't have much contact with them.

I’m glad to introduce my family. There're three people, including my parents and me. My mom's a beautiful woman with long black hair. My father’s a little fat. My parents are both IT engineers. They are very busy all day with their laptops. However, after dinner, we sit together in the living room talking, sometimes watching a funny movie. On the weekend, my family usually go shopping or go out to have dinner. Sometimes, my dad drives the whole family to go to the beach far about 100km from my house. I love these trips. We have a lot of fun. I feel very happy to be alive in this family.

My family is very lovely as I have an elder sister, a mom, and a dad. My sister is 2 years older than me, that is my only sibling. Although sometimes I do fight with my sister, but we will forget that at the next moment and became as usual. My parents are sometimes very straight while at studying, but most of the time they are very friendly and good to us. My family isn't crazy about sports, but we do often go to the park to jog or run. We're a nuclear family. My parents and me. I have an older sister. She's married though, so no longer lives with us but stays in the same city. I'm the youngest in my family. Well, I love them a lot. I;d say we're a mix of everything. We have problems, arguements and ugly fights just like every family probably does. Then the next moment you may see us being funny and laughing as if there is no issue going on in our lives. There is even some amount of dysfunctionality in our family that I'd dare not deny, but what even is a family now where there isn't any dysfunctionality lol, just the quantity may differ. But deep down, we're all very much aware of the fact that we love each other a lot, will support each other at every step and can die for each other.
