Film review: The Hunger Games

Sci-fi adventure, 2012

In the future the USA is a new country called Panem. Every year the Capitol of Panem chooses 12 boys and 12 girls to go on a TV show called The Hunger Games. In this TV show the teenagers have to fight until there is only one person left. Katniss goes on the show and she has to run fast and fight to save her life.

I love the actors in this film. Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson are fantastic as Katniss, Gale and Peeta. My favourite character is Katniss because she is very good at running and fighting. Also, I think that the film is good because it is exactly the same as the book.

I give The Hunger Games five stars, go and watch it soon!

Tangled.
There was a princess called Rapunzel, that was born with magic hair and this magic was gifted by a magic flower. There was an evil witch that wanted to steal that magic, so because of that, she kidnapped the baby princess from the queen and the king, and the witch raised her by her own, so she could use the power of the princess’s hair. This power used to make her younger.
The girl grew up locked on a hidden tower, her mom, the witch, used to lie to her saying that outside the tower, there were bad people that wanted to hurt her.
One day on her 18th birthday, Rapunzel, asked her mom for paint, because she loved painting. To get those paints, the witch needed to do a 3 day trip. So, she left her on her own. But later, that day, a guy named Flynn Rider stole the princess crown and while he was escaping, he found Rapunzel’s tower. Rapunzel nocked him out and hide the crown. When he woke up, she made a deal with. If he wanted the crown back, he needed to take her to see the flying lamps that the kingdom throws to the sky every single year on the night of her birthday. Flynn agreed and they went on a little adventure so Rapunzel could see the lamps.
Moments later the witch found out that Rapunzel escaped the tower, she got mad and went to look after her. In the meantime Rapunzel and Flynn were having so much fun, they were getting to know each other and they fell in love. They finally saw the flying lamps, and thy spent a beautiful time together.
Then, the witch found them, and made Rapunzel think that Flynn was only with her because he wanted the crown, which wasn’t true. So she left with her mom and the witch locked her again, that’s when Rapunzel found out that she was lying to her this entire time and she wasn’t her real mom, but she was the missing princess of the kingdom. She tried to run, but the witch didn’t let her, so she cut her hair instead so the witch couldn’t use its power, and then, the witch tried to kill her, but Flynn got there on time and saved her. The witch fell from the tower and finally died.
Rapunzel, with help of Flynn, got reunited with her real family, the queen and the king.

Warrior nun is a fantasy action drama series from 2020. It tells the story of a 19 year-old girl who wakes up in a morgue with a new lease of life and a divine artifact embedded in her back. It is set in Spain but the actors are from USA. This series has 2 seasons and 18 episodes.

Alba Baptista starts as Ava Silva , Emilio Sakraya starts as I-C and Kristina Tonter-Young starts as Sister Beat. My favorite character is Sister Beat because she is intelligent, smart and very cool.

This is one of my favorite series because I like when they fight with demos on Earth and powerful forces, the order of the Cruciform Sword is very strong and ancient, they keep many secrets with them. I recommend it to anyone who likes action and fantasy.

The edge of Seventeen is a Coming of Age Comedy Film from 2016. It tells a story of Nadine and Krista, two very close friends that go to the same high school. But their friendship is in danger when Nadine finds out that Krista is dating his brother. It is set in the USA, in a normal highschool. The film lasts an hour and 44 minutes.

Hailee Steinfeld stars as Nadine and Helen Lu Richardson as Krista. My favourite character is Nadine because she is so relatable and sarcastic.

I really like this film because it really encapsulates the experience of young people with Borderline Personality Disorder.
I recommend it because it is a good movie about the average teenage experience.

The stranger by the shore (2020) is an animated and bl romantic film about two guys that they don't know each other. The film is set in the Japan city Okinawa in the year 2020. It tells the romance story between two strangers called Mio and Shun that they meet at the beach one day.

Jessie James Grelle as Shun and Justin Briner. My favourite character is Shun, because he is funny and a troublemaker.

I love this film so much because tells a beautiful romance story, and has some sad moments. I highly recommend this film to someone who loves to watch a good romantic film.

The walking dead is a horror
,suspense anda zombies series. This series from 2010 is ser un Atlanta in 2010 it tells the story of Rick Grimes a policeman who wake up from a coma in a apocalypse looking fro his family.
Andrew Lincoln stars as Rick Grimes and Norman reduss as Darryl Dixon, My favourite character is Darryl Dixon because he has great character development i'm the story.
In My opinión it is a very good series because it shows how humanity would act in times of crisis.
I think that the walking dead is a ideal series for people who like zombie gente

Deadpool and wolverine
My favorite movie is a sci-fi, comedy super heroes film, it's from 2024, set in the USA and in another dimension, the movie tells the story of Deadpool trying to save his universe with the help of wolverine, how they get along and the dynamics of them.

Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool and Hugh Jackman is wolverine, they both interact spectacularly and are so much fun, Deadpool took the spotlight for me.

The film was incredibly fun and fresh, it's something that I had a long time without seeing, and it surely was made with a lot of love from the filmmakers.
Anyone who likes the superhero genre or the previous Deadpool movies will have a blast watching it

The walking dead is a netflix series about zombies. This series from 2010 is set in Alexandria Usa, 2023. it tells the history of rick grimes and how he survives to the zombies, i love how the series make you love the characters, or not, showing you how the life can be in danger in a short time, my favourite character is darryl because he is smart, funny and had a great character developmemt. I recommend the walking dead to everyone who enjoys suspense series because this is a good one, I give the walking dead five out of five stats

The Walking Dead is a sci-fi series about.

Fast and Furious 7 is sci-fi saga of films about cars and family. This film from 2016 is set in USA, in the present time. It tells a story of a robbery in cars, that have a lot of acton.
Vin Diesel, stars as Dominic Toretto, and Paul Walker as Brian.
My favourite character is Brian because i like the role that he plays in the film.

Regular show is a comedy series about two friends. This series from 2010 is set in the USA, 1980. It tells the story of two friends, one raccoon and one bird, who make some funny aventures in Los Angeles, USA

My favourite character is Rigby because he is midget and very annoying and funny. Plays the role of acompany Mordecai (the bird) in the adventures.

I think is a ideal series for people who like the comedy and the adventures, I give Regular Show five stars

Proyect X is a comedy cinematografic film about tree characters.This film from 2012 is set the USA California (2008).It tells the story of Costa, Thomas and J.B who throw a wild party of the country.

Olive Cooper (Costa), Miles Teller (Thomas) and Jonathan Daniel (J.B).My favourite character is Costa because he is a funny, crazy and ironic.

I think this is an ideal film for people who like teen comedy and crazy stories.I give Proyecto X five stars.

Mean Girls
Mean Girls is a comedy film about a 16-year-old girl. This film is from 2004 and is set in the USA, 2004. It tells the story of Cady Heron, a teenage girl who moves from Africa to an American Highschool, where she gets involved with “The Plastics”, a popular and manipulative group of girls.

Lindsay Lohan stars as Cady Heron, and Rachel Mc Adams as Regina George. My favourite character is Cady because she is smart, pretty and she decides to do things well at the end.

I would recommend this film to anyone who likes comedy films. I give Mean Girls 5 stars.

Harry Potter is a sci-fic movie about a school of magic. This film from 2001 is set in UK. It tells the story of Harry Potter, a child who discovers a new world of magic, he was a very famous figure for all magicians since he was the boy who survived the most feared man.

Emma watson played hermione in all movies, hermione is my favourite character beacuse she was brilliant, good and beautiful.

I think these movies are very good for people who like science fiction, I highly recoomend them to everyone since I consider all movies to be good. I give Harry potter 5 stars

Teen Wolf is a supernatural and drama series about two boys who discovered supernatural things. This series from 2011 is set in the USA, in the present moment. It tells the story of Scott McCall and his best friend, Stiles, who face strange things that happen in their town.

Tyler Posey stars as Scott McCall, and Dylan O’Brain as Stiles. My favourite character is Stiles because he is funny, kind, smart, loyal, brave and strong.

I think this is an ideal series for people who like mystery and suspense

Outer Banks
Outer banks is an action, mistery and drama series about a rivalvy between two groups of teenangers who lives in Outer Banks. This series from 2020 is set in the USA, in the present time. It tells the story of Jhon B and his friends JJ, Sarah Cameron, Kiara and Pope who are looking for gold and how they have rivalvy with the other group of teenagers of an upper class in the island called Outer Banks.

Madelyn Cline was late the role of Sarah Cameron, and Rudy Pablo’s of JJ. My favorite character is Sarah Cameron because she is funny, loyal, smart, honest, brave and generous.

If you like series about drama, mistery, love, action and where the main characters are teenangers this is the perfect series for you. In my opinion Outer Banks deserves five stars

Scarface is a crime film about mafia. This film from 1983 is set in the USA, in the 80s. It tells the story of a gangster called Tony Montana who wants to become the king of the mafia world.

Al Pacimo stars as Tony Montana and Michelle Pfeiffer as Elvira Hancock. My favourite character is Tony Montana because he represents the emptiness of living a superficial and materialist life, only focusing on obtaining power.

I would recommend this film to anyone who likes movies about mafia and with good pacing. I give Scarface five stars.

Gossip Girl is a drama series about q group of teenagers. This series from 2007 is set in New York in the present time. It tells the story of a page where everyone’s gossip is published about what they do all the time and it creates problems between everyone.

Blake Lively stars as Serena van der Woodsen, Leighton Meester as Blair Waldorf, Ed Westwik as Chuck Bass, Chace Crawford as Nate Archibald and Penn Badgley as Dan Humphrey. My favourtite character is Blair Waldorf because she is very strategic, intelligent, beautiful, but her vulnerability is also very well shown.

I think this is an ideal series for people who likes drama and gossip.
I give Gossip Girl five stars

Father is strange(2017) is a drama TV series about the family . This series is set in Korea 2017. It tell the story of a family who go through some problems because the father has a big secret . The series has 52 episodes of 50 minutes.

Kim Yeon-cheol stars as Byun Han-soo, Kim Hae-sook as Na Young-Sil, Lee Yu-ri as Byun Hye-young, Lee Joon as Ahn Joong-Hee and Jeong So min as Byun Mi-Young. My favorite character is Byun Hye-young because she is very smart and funny.

What I love about this series is how they face their problems, obviously sometimes with comedy buy in the most of time they deal with the problems whit the most possible seriousness. In my opinion, this is an ideal series for people who like comedy and mystery.

Breaking nada si a Drama serie about a Teacher who as cancer and is going to die soon and wants to leave a lot of money to his family so he proceeds to manufacture methamphetamine

Bryan Cranston is Walter White and Aaron paul is Jesse Pinkman. My favourite chacter is Walter because i like the role that he plays in the film.

Green House Academy (2017) is a Drama series about two siblings Hayley and Alex. This series is set in Israel in the current time. It tells the story of Hayley and Alex that enter on a elite boarding school, they find romance and mistery related to the recent loss of their mom. The series has 40 episodes

Ariel Mortman starts as Hayley and Finn Roberts as Alex. My favourite character is Hayley because I think she is Intelligent and strong and she always protects her brother.

In my point of view this is an incredible series because you can see mystery, romance and suspense. Its an emotional and intresting series, its a truly Great piece of filmaking. You have to Watch it because the more time you spend without watching the more you loss.

The Karate kid
Martial arts drama film
The story follows 12-year-old Dre Parker (Smith) from Detroit, Michigan, who moves to Beijing, China with his widowed mother Sherry (Henson) and runs afoul of the neighborhood bully Cheng (Zhenwei Wang). He makes an unlikely ally in the form of an ageing maintenance man, Mr. Han (Chan), a kung fu master who teaches him the secrets of self-defence.
I love the actors in this film. Especially Jackie Chan. He was so funny and cool at the same time. He's perfect for playing role as kong fu master he's fighting was the best. Also, I think that this film is fantastic because the story have excited and heart warming scene plus good life lesson

My favourite film "The Beekeeper" One of the best action movie of all time released in 2024. it stars Jason Statham, the villian of the film My favorite character is Jason Statham, at first, he just a beekeeper but one day someone killed his neighbour and she was his good friend.Great action movie with Jason Statham playing Jason Statham in an old-school Steven. The best part of the movie is the beekeeper was a secret agency own by the US Government retired.

Avengers Endgame Si-fi Fantasy, 2019 April This film is about the Avengers collecting the infinity stones to find missing Avengers members who were vanished by Thanos and his Alien army. I like this film because I love Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Tom Holland as Iron Man, Captain America and Spider Man's acting! Also it's from my favorite Movie stadium 'Marvel'! My favorite film is Zodiac (2007). It is a representation of the case of the zodiac murderer, who terrorized the streetsof Nothern California in 1968. I like it for the suspense and the victims, and the investigation is very detailed and important. I love this movie (5 stars)

My favorite movie is Rush Hour. The film was launched in 1998 and the genre of this film is Action, Comedy. The film is about two police officers who are completely different in character and manner of working, who are investigating a case at the level of national importance.
I like this film because of the mood and tone, it helps to understand the meaning of friendship.

My favourite film is "Inception". In this film people can go inside dreams. One day a pearson tells Cobb, which is the main character, that if he does it he can go back to the USA, where his children live, because he had to escape from that country because of an accuse. The Lovely Bones is one of the pleasant supernatural thriller drama movie. Inspired by Alice Sebold’s 2002 novel and directed later by Peter Jackson on 2009. Starring Saoirse Ronan as a sweet 14 years old girl Susie Salmon and Stanley Tucci in the role of George Harvey, the villain in this film. The plot involves as Susie Salmon urging the need to avenge upon her own tragic death from an idealized serial killer miniaturist. There are a lot of intriguing moment when she is witnessing the events on earth from the “in-between” as her family turned their beloved house as a tomb of a grief. As she is around the clock, will she be able to find the lights in her darkest place? The movie itself was partially based on a true story. While the novel classifies itself as fiction but actually it roots lie in reality. Eventhough the story and its message were generally bland and cloying sentimentality which led to an upsetting experience, the visual effects for the “in-between” was incredibly eye-catching. The soundtrack is remarkably touching as it brings imaginary, dreamy, surreal and otherworldly feelings with mixed-emotion. I would recommend this movie, The Lovely Bones especially for supernatural thriller lovers out there. I’m sure the unpredictable plot will caught you off guard at the very end. Hacksaw Ridge Biographical war drama film, 2016 I like the casting of the film. They are correct and spot on for choosing Andrew Garfield as Desmond Doss to portray his Heroism and bravery, because I think It is suitable for Andrew, as compared to his past roles playing Spider-Man in The Amazing Spider-Man. When I first saw It, I thought It was so amazing and I was blown away. It Is inspiring to all.Even the fact that it was based on a true story is truly incredible. I cried pretty much throughout the entirety of this film, it got to the point where I was shaking during the war scenes. seriously such a fantastic moving film. It changes my perspective on war greatly. I give "Hacksaw Ridge" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and I definitely recommend everyone to go watch this Movie. Claudio ( 17 years old, Manado)

Clouds Biographical musical drama film, 2020 Zach Sobiech, a young musicians with months to live, follows his dream of making a music album to make the most of the time he has left. I love this movie, the first time I watched this film, I cried. Fin Argus very deep into his role in playing the character Zach. I really like the story, there are many meanings and messages behind this film. Oh yeah, don't forget the song "Clouds", it really touched me.✨. I think this film is very good. I give "Clouds" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and I very recommend this film, if you have time, watch this movie sometime. (Helen, 16, Manado)

My favourite films are all parts of Hobbit and The Lord of the rings, because I like fantasy movie very much. I also like adventure movies, fantasy characters and mysterious landscapes and forests. The actors acting those movies are very professional, beautiful and handsome. By the way, I read all books of these stories. It's amazing and super interesting. i am eleven years old, but i like all the back to future's films, they are very good, the story is very good and when i wacthed the first film, i didn't know that the film was old XD, i think the films were a little bit
